About this Album:
With NOFX you can usually expect something vulgar, funny, ridiculous or all of the above. This album changes all that. 'The war on errorism' is easily as good as its predeccesor, 2000's 'Pump up the valuum' but all the vulgarity and drinking anthems now having been replaced by anti-bush anthems-the inside sleeve actually featuring george bush dressed as a clown, next to the words 'somewhere in texas there is a village missing its idiot'-politically aware ranting attached to the most tuneful, infectious songs of NOFX's career-Particularly on the song 'franco un-american'-but still, you can find an anthem of their hero-worship (ian mackaye, bret gurewitz, etc.) on songs like '13 stitches' and 'we got two jealous agains'. for me, the standout songs would be 'franco un-american', 'american errorist (i hate haters)' and 'she's nubs'.
