Nirvana - Man Who Sold The World Ver. 3 lyrics

This is my interpretation, and I think eveyone is right because we don't really know exactly what Kurt Cobain(rest in peace) says. Here it goes though.

We passed upon the stairs.
Spoke in was and when.
Although I wasn't there.
He said I was his friend.
Which came as a suprise.
I spoke into his eyes.
I though you died alone.
A long, long time ago.

Oh no, not me.
We never lost control.
The face. To face.
With the Man who sold the world.

I laughed and shook his hand.
Made my way back home.
I searched from former land.
For years and years I roamed.
I gazed a gazeless stare.
We walked a million hills.(sounds like "must a million hills" if you listen closely, but, whatever)
I must've died alone.
A long, long time ago.

Who knows? Not me.
I never lost control.
You're face. To face.
With the Man who sold the world.

Who knows? Not me.
We never lost control.
You're face. To face.
With the Man who sold the world.

(solo comes up, pretty cool too)

Well, that's my two cents on it. Later
