This is the summer, the summer of despair

I don't know where I'm going, but it feels like nowhere

I'm working all day just to pay my way

In a world that won't accept me for who I am

And so I'll play like seasons mean something to me

When nothing ever changes once you are older than 16

The sun, the beach, all miles away

Not that it matters since you'll have to work everyday anyway
