Intro/chorous1:
N.C D D
Hear the song of all Creation.
G D
Hosanna!
D D
Hear the stars and moon and sun say.
A
Hosanna!
D D
Listen to the ocean waves,
G Em
And hear what the thunder says,
D A D
Hosanna to the King of kings!

Verse 1:
D
Hear the echo of the noise,
          G D
As Jesus sets out to destroy,
         G
And cast out all the merchants
               D
From the Holy Place.

See the anger in His eyes,
               G D
But then look close and realize,
                         A D
There is still a light upon His face!

Chorus 2:
D
Can't you keep these children quiet?
G
Hosanna!
D
This is no place for a riot.
A
Hosanna!
       D
If you try to quell these girls and boys,
          G
The very rocks will shout for joy!
D A D
Hosanna to the King of kings!

Verse 2:
D
As the courtyard settles down,
              G D
The children gather all around
                              G
To thank the one who gave them back
               D A
Their place to pray.
     D
But soon their hearts are overcome,
               G Em
They start to shout for joy and run
     D A D
To sing and leap and laugh and say,

Chorus 2:
D
Can't you keep these children quiet?
G
Hosanna!
D
This is no place for a riot.
A D
Hosanna!
D
If you try to quell these girls and boys,
          G Em
The very rocks will shout for joy!
D A
Hosanna to the King!
D A
Hosanna to the King!
D A D
Hosanna to the King of kings!

This is a great song about a beautiful story of Jesus' life! I love to
both listen to and play it! If it looks a little odd, like at the
beginning. Those are all down-strokes! Do not strum that first chorus!
Secondly, this song is played on piano, and there's a couple more things
you can do on piano than on guitar. If you have any comments or questions
just e-mail me!
