Subject: Lyrics to THIS IS NOT LOVE

I've been working on the lyrics and the music. I'll pass them along as
I get them done. The lyrics are only what I hear from the Single CD
and a tape of the album. So they may not be 100%. Corrections can be
made when the album is released. I also have Truck Stop Runner which
is not on the Single or Album, but will send the lyrics anyway. Here
is This Is Not Love. I've printed the chords above the lyrics and by
no means every little fingering that Ian or Martin uses. Martin does
use the 5 chord a lot. This a major or minor triad with the 3rd
removed. So play A5 with the bass A on the fifth fret, E on the 7th
and A on the 7th. This is really an A minor. The C5, F5, G5, can be
     played as major chords.

                     THIS IS NOT LOVE

A5 E5 D5 C5 D5 A5 E5 D5 F5 G5 A5 E5 D5 C5 D5 A5 E5 D5 F5 G5

A5 E5 D5 C5 D5
Winds howled, rains spit down
A5 E5 D5 F5 G5
All these nights playing precious games
A5 E5 D5 C5 D5
Cheap hotel in some seaboat town
A5 E5 D5 F5 G5
Closed down for the winter and whispered names

E F
Puppy dog waves on a big moon sea
G D
Snap our heels halfheartedly
C F G

Sunburst images of summers gone

A5 E5 D5 C5 D5
Down to the sad south, smoky plumes
A5 E5 D5 F5 G5
Mock the real world sitting home
A5 E5 D5 C5 D5
Broken spells and silent gloom
A5 E5 D5 F5 G5
Ooze from that concrete honeycomb

E F
Puppy dog waves on a big moon sea

Snapped our heels half heartedly
