Jack Johnson- flake

chords: D-F-A#minor-F

i know she said it is all right
you can make it up next time
i know she knows it is not right
there aint any use in lying

maybe she thinks i know somehting
maybe, maybe she thinks its fine
maybe she knows somehting i don't, i'm so,
i'm so tired i'm so of trying

chords: F-C-Dmin-A-A#min-C-F-C
it seems to me that maybe
it pretty much always means no
so don't tell me
you might just let it go
and often times we are lazy
it seems to stand in my way
cause no one, no not,
no one likes to be let down

I know she loves the sun rise
no longer sees it with her sleeping eyes and
i know that when she said she's gonna try
well it might not work because of other the ties and
i know that she usally has some other ties and
i wouldn't want to break 'em, nah,
wouldn't want to break 'em
maybe she will help me to untie this, but
until then well i'm gonna have to lie too

it seems to me that maybe
it pretty much always means no
so don't tell me
you might just let it go

often times we are lazy
it seems to stand in my way
cause no one, no not,
no one likes to be let down

it seems to me that maybe
it pretty much always means no
so don't tell me
you might just let it go

[solo]

harder that you try, baby, the further you'll fall
even with all the money in the whole wide world

please please please don't pass me
please please please don't break me
please please please don't pass me by

everything you know about me now baby you gonna have to change
you gonna have to call it by a brand you name, ooo ooo oo

please please please don't drag me
" "
please please please don't drag me down

just like a tree down by the water baby i shall not move
even after all those silly things you do, ooo ooo oo

please please please don't drag me
" "
please please please don't drag me down

The guitar is one of the greatest inventions in all of history. Let's show some respect here. Plus, why are you people naturally so angry? Let's take it easy on each other. Just sit back and jam. Get the hate out of your heart. And then you can pick up the guitar and play.

hi i love this site and thanks to whoever's putting up the chords to songs we all want to learn, but if you can't tell when a major or minor chord is played, you should prolly figure that out first before posting something that's not even close to the real thing.

this tab is incomplete and it is missing some of the major nuances that make it a good song. also, the D as shown is a Dmin chord, the A#min as shown (which is played in a Bflat position) is actually not minor it is major, just not rung out as much. there is a transition coming out of the verse which is simply: Dmin - Fmaj - Bflat - C, (the C instead of the Fmaj again). Also one more thing, the chorus is: Fmaj - C - C# - Dmin - Bflat...etc. The main addition being the C#. Just listen to the song and you'll see.
