Into the darkened cave
Steps lead me under
Into the netherworld
Far too often I gave in
Temptations were too strong

The call of mist, of blue and green
Dancing spheres surround my mind again

I hear the misty ghost of silent winter
She calls me back to where I now belong
The darkness whispering to me: "pretender"
I cannot turn back time again, no more

I travel down the same old road
Snow covered path of icy stone
Skidding steps make friends with danger
Ensnaring lures I've endured
Beneath the liquid veil
Lies a lair of the damned

This sound is torture
It's griding in my ear
Been there, done that, gone through
I need to get away
