Harrie Jekkers - Cocaïne Joe lyrics

Your rating:

Well, let me introduce myself
My name is cocaine Joe
And if you don’t life sniffin’, choppin’
Well men, you’d better go

I was born way in the thirties
A rich family in L.A.
At fourteen I started gambling
My mother cried but my dad’s to pay

You know and I rolled across the border
  In a train to Mexico
Came back with cocaine
And my mother… she didn’t know, man

At sixteen I started dealing
My paradise was Hollywood
I sold the coke to lousy actors
Most of them were shit, no good

One of them was Ronald Reagan
And he said to me: “He, Joe
There is some money, man
Give me more shit from Mexico”

You know and I rolled across the border
  In a train to Mexico
Came back with cocaine
And Nancy… she didn’t know, man

Then Ronny ran for governor
And then he ran for president
But I can tell you, man
Without his dope he couldn’t make a stand

So I followed him to Florida
To Nebraska and to Maine
But before he started speeching
Man, Ronny needed his cocaine

You know and I rolled across the border
  In a train to Mexico
Came back with cocaine
And Nancy, stupid Nancy… she still didn’t know, man
Incredible

Then Ronny was made president
But his fist lady went insane
You know, she was fighting for a clean America
Without horse, without cocaine

She tried to close the borders down
Between the States and Mexico
No one was getting through
Except me, man…. cocaine Joe

You know I flew across the border
  In a presidential plane
And then straight back to Washington
With the president’s cocaine

And if you don’t believe
That in the White House cocaine flows
How come there was always something wrong
With Ronald Reagan’s presidential nose
His nose, man
Nobody knows except us
Right on
