Christian Costa (born June 26, 2010), known professionally as Grill Z, is an American singer, rapper, songwriter, and record producer from the music team “ArmorStudios” formed in 2016, owned by him and his cousins. He’s also done beatboxing, mixing and mastering all throughout his music career.
Although releasing a wide solo discography, Grill Z mostly makes music with his favorite cousin Leilan The Savage (real name: Leilan Carter Hill) and form the duo Grill Z &amp; Leilan The Savage. Him and his family (mostly cousins) would occasionally record &amp; release music on YouTube and AutoRap for 6 YEARS, leading up to their big enhancement in 2021 with their first projects; the EP Bad Memories and the debut album BEST BRO SUPER MODE.
He was very busy in 2022 by dropping several albums, videos, promos, collabs and mixtapes for AS. On November 13, 2022, he dropped his long-awaited debut solo album Ice Cold; produced by Luck &amp; Sam Forento with additional work by Leilan.
Grill Z has stated the following below:

I'm inspired by The Weeknd and FKA twigs for their wonderful music and experimental sound. The first time I listened to Trilogy (by The Weeknd), I couldn't stop replaying it over and over again.. hence why I made the Ice Cold album a compilation of R&amp;B/Soul mixtapes, while also drawing inspiration from his other albums. When I first discovered FKA twigs, I instantly fell in love with her album CAPRISONGS and watched it go from the progress of &quot;tears in the club&quot; to &quot;darjeeling&quot; to the album itself. I definitely think they are what made me get into more of an &quot;making music&quot; stage, recording for months and just finding the storyline that will fit right with the music.

His second album Mystery X3 released on August 29, 2023 featuring underground artists, AI, and even Doja Cat. More albums are expected to release as he finds his music very experimental and interesting.
