Ok i hated the first album. So i pick up this one because i heard of how great it was. How much they had improved and all. I love metal music i hate this kind, but oh well i wanted to expand my horizons. Well this album wasn't worth a dime. The singing sucks, the songs are p*ss poor, the guitarwork isn't much, nothing on this album was really worth a buy.

It's really sad to see how the corporations have come and destroy anything that was rebel in some sense and way, making it just a piece of corporate creation and mass consuption.
So true when I hear that if this is Punk, turn off the lights and lets go home. Silly haircuts, clown image (and they think they are tough) and awful 13 year old oriented bubble pop with no talent whatsoever, at least not the one to put them high where they are.
Is just a question of time for me to face someone with a Good Charlotte t-shirt, see me with a Ramones one, and say to me: "Who are those losers?"
The world upside down.

Good Charlotte has no business trying to play music. This album (as with all of their other albums) was woefully devoid of talent in every aspect, from lyrics to playing to singing to arrangement. I could put together a group of drunk 5 year olds who could put out better crap then these guys. Modern music is truly in a sad state if these clowns are considered "punk". Even their being considered "pop/punk" is bad. Pop and punk are two opposite things. Punk evolved out of the counterculture of pop. East is east and west is west and never the twain shall meet. Unfortunately, these guys are about as familiar with that saying as they are with their instruments.

Good Charlotte is my favorite band. They work hard to make albums for their dedicated fans. Their first two albums were poppy and cattchy while this record has a little bit more darkness to it. The guys faced their demons and made an awesome record that people love. Each song has a less finished sound and a little more rough. The guitar is awesome in it and Billy Martin is excellent on the keyboard.
Best songs-Predictable, The World is Black, We Believe, and I just wanna live
This record is a stepping stone into something darker for the band and hopefully the next record will be kick ass.
