The Zoo Music: Ferre Grignard Text: Jozef Hermans
I've got the right to burn the zoo
I pay my tax's too
So I burned the zoo
I went to see Lulu, and saw a bear sippin' a glass of beer
The lion thought he had his kingdom back
And slapped them all taxes on their back
Exept the eagle in the sky, uhhh...
He was way up high
The monkey thought to act like a man
and they all got put in the can
The giraffes clean'd the trees of the birds and bees
the time I burned the zoo, uhhh...
It was a pretty fire but at least I made my point
and cut loose on the joint
and set all the animals free
Though I burn'd some in the end
They all blamed me
But I was heaven sent, I had no time to repent
If you look for a moral in my story
don't for there isn't any
Before I get you tired and bory this must be the end
