Dez Mona - The Storm lyrics

Written by Gregory Frateur Sophisticated by Craig Ward

An empty paper sustains the words of silent people.
Silent people dare to wander at the edge of riot.
At the riot's edge the lightning's thunder gossips low all over.
It gossips low all over and the storm comes closer with a drop of giant rain
A drop of giant rain it bears lead as water wrecking the sky above
It wrecks the sky above with heavy rumbling and fateful moaning
This fateful moaning it cleaves the hearts of people most of them running
You see, most are running they seek a brighter future that they might handle quiet
Some cannot handle quiet for the stronger urge is to measure sorrows
We too measure sorrows we screen the wire and search for balance
For counterbalance, ‘tween fear and freedom we seek a sign of God
Well, there’s your sign of God bright as lightning it's as clear as water
Clear as water a child is anxious as the storm grows colder
And as the storm grows colder the days grow darker the reasons vaguer
And these vaguer reasons they overlook the love the love in one another
The love that stands the storm stands the water stands the rumble
As time is changing the air is changing our life, it's changing
Our life is changing our smile is changing the look in our eyes is changing
Our touch is changing our breath is changing our home is changing
We are changing we are changing, we are fading are we failing?
