Trying to reach the sky on my own strength

It never worked it never will

All that I have built

Has crashed into the sand

That once was its foundation

Tides have washed the fragments into the sea

So cold so dark

I learn through loss that I am unable to achieve

What I am meant for

Here I lie

Broken on the rock on which I have fallen

This is where true building begins

For my foundation is sure
