Ready for the Weekend is the second album by Scottish artist/producer Calvin Harris.
After working as producer for Kylie Minogue and being nominated for various awards including a Brit for best single, this is another collection of Pop inspired Dance tracks taking in everything from Electro House to the anthemic Pop Trance of the lead single ‘I’m Not Alone’.
The album peaked at number one on UK Albums Chart.
Nothing musically groundbreaking, but a great CD to dance to, and an excellent follow up to “I created Disco”.
With already three huge singles from this album (if you include “Dance Wiv Me feat. Dizzee Rascal“), you feel like any of the tracks could be potential future singles.

Scottish Producer/DJ Calvin Harris returns with even more club friendly songs on his sophomore disc “Ready for the weekend”.
The album in general is a job well done. We’d recommend it to anyone who likes a wide variety of Dance and the electro side of pop.
