About this Album:
The album consists of 14 tracks - all brilliant. Before I bought this album, I heard only bad things about it but this is mainly because everyone would rather have zack de la rocha (rage against the machine) as the singer (I also prefer Zack). Tom Morello, Brad Wilk and Timmy C are in Audioslave but with Chris Cornell as the singer(ex soundgarden vocalist)
But I bought the album anyway despite of what I had heard as the few songs I had already heard on it were good. Many wild effects used by Tom Morello are still present and there are also some nice relaxing songs too. A good example is I am the highway.
These are the 14 tracks on the album:
-
Cochise (3.12)
-
Show me how to live (4.37
-
Gasoline (4.40)
-
What You Are (4.09)
-
Like A Stone (4.54)
-
Set It Off (4.23)
-
Shadow On The Sun (5.43)
-
I Am The Highway (5.35)
-
Exploder (3.26)
10.Hypnotise (3.27)
11.Bring Em Back Alive (5.29)
12.Light My Way (5.03)
- Getaway Car (4.59)
14.The last remaining light (5.17)
All the songs are good in my opinion and there is a nice mix of heavy, soft and bouncy tunes.

I wouldn't say that Audioslave are better than rage. The album has great songs and I would like to see more coming from the new band.
The music Is of a different style and there is no rapping or much hatred towards anything. If you liked rage against the machine and/or soundgarden I suggest you get this album if you haven't already bought it. In my opinion the best songs are - I am the highway, Set it off, Like a stone, What you are. the list could continue but i will stop there. I would give this album 9/10 and I would suggest that any Rage/soundgarden fan should get it.

I was extremely excited when I heard that this band was getting together, because I am a huge Rage and Soundgarden fan, and when I heard the first single Cochise I couldn't wait to pick up the album, then I got and listened to it, and I was kind of disapointed, don't get me wrong it's a great album, but coming from these four musicians I was expecting alot more. You don't really get to hear how great of a singer Chris Cornell is(except on Cochise), and Tom Morello doesn't really show how amazing of a guitar player he is. I would recommend this album to anybody who likes some good rock music, but don't expect it to be like Rages first album or like Superunkown by Soundgarden.
