Life isn't as fast as you think,
There's something I've learnt,
When you try to sleep it alone,
Out of sync with the world,
Tonight is so still that I reckon
I could stop time,
Then I could catch up
And start living in light.

I am the only one for miles here it seems,
Taking pictures of what looks just like lava,
Distant people flicker by in their cars,
Do they know they're living in a bowl?
