Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin
Of the world, I can scarce take it in, (Oh Lord)
That God doesn’t spare His own Son, but instead
To the slaughter He’s lead for our sin.
And on that cross, God’s anger and love collide,

As the sinless Christ, freely gives His life,
And absorbs all the wrath that we should.
Who is like our God? Who pardons iniquity?
Who has mercy, compassion and love. (No other)
So when there’s sin in my members,
The thing I remember is nothing but blood.
