About this Album:

My friends used to talk about Wolfmother when they played at universities and locals an I thought nothing of it.

Then they just took the world by storm and after listening to a few of their songs I quuickly bought their album and rate it as one of the best modern rock albums, with similarities to old school 80's rock and yet a very unique modern kick ass sound. Can't wait for their next album!!

I had never even heard of Wolfmother until i bought this album.....and now i rate it as one of my best albums! People who are into Black Sabbath and AC/DC will love this album. All songs are crossed between and 80s style sound, and a modern one. Wolfmother use quite a bit of significant effects unlike older bands....but the vocals sound are definately inspired by Ozzy and the guitar sounds great with its overdrive. It has a good amount of songs and it includes some really good ones such as Woman, Joker & the theif, Dimension and Where eagles have been which includes a kick ass solo. If you have the money and your into 80s style music with added effects, buy it!!! Great album!!!
