You can vary the rythym, and add in stuff, like slides and stuff such as...

When "Yeah they were dancing, and singing..." comes, all you play is

g|---7-7-7-7- etc.  Play that chord about 15 times, then move the whole progression
d|---6-6-6-6-        up to the 10th fret.
a|---7-7-7-7-
e|-----------

e|---10-10--
b|---10-10--
g|---10-10-- etc.  After this is played, there are 2 other chords played, but it's hard
d|---9 -9 --	    to hear them...try your best to figure them out.
