Stars are holes in the sky
Shining from Heaven's light
City sparkles dance in the night
Distance is an illusion of the mind

If a reflection only shows what inherently lacks
Then every sight and song is just another step back
It's like pretending you can fly and soaring high to somewhere new
Then settling for the ground when from the start you really wanted the sky
