societies pressures have thrown 
themselves on top of me 
media's narrow type veiws 
have surrounded the free 
and as we live amidst this sadness 
we see the madness 
the battle rages from all sides 
and we realize... 
destruction's gate is wide 
and the narrow road is life

I feel no reason to be found 
running from a sky that's falling down 
societies values are coming apart 
at the seams 
breeding a liberal type view 
that's dividing the free 
...it brings me down 
a world of darkness 
yet there are answers 
and there is power
