I'm people watching staring through the rain
With admiration and disdain.
Looking from my flat I can see the usuals sat
Talking, sipping on a San Miguel.

There are those who stay and waste their time away
And do so with a smile on their face.
There are those who amble by and I don't know quite why.
I'm not following their lead.
