We are restless (searching)

searching for something

in the nothingness

while Babylon keeps us down

rendered pennieless

and we get less and less and less



Yea this is madness

Trying to find the light

in the darkness

while Babylon only cause anxiety and stress

and we stress and stress and stress



But one day we'll realise 

that it's a 1-way life

and we're running 

in the wrong direction



Their tree is fruitless

yet we eat whatever it gives 

to feed the hungriness

While the ugliness of things 

defeats our happiness

it's all a mess, such a mess, such a mess

Yes Jah bless us with his love 

and there's no loneliness

for those in touch 

with his divinity and gracefulness

we must be strong now 

and fortify our fortresses

so it's not hopeless

Nothing is meaningless
