About this lyric:

Walking In The Air by The Maccabees, Music Lyrics and Video

English rock band The Maccabees covered a Christmas song "Walking In The Air", a song written by Howard Blake for the 1982 animated film of Raymond Briggs' 1978 children's book The Snowman.
The song is out on iTunes now and the five-piece also filmed themselves performing the track live recently, during their On Track With SEAT session for Channel 4.

Here you can listen the song.

We're walking in the air
We're floating in the moonlit sky
The people far below are sleeping as we fly

Far across the world
The villages go by like dreams
The rivers and the hills
The forests and the streams

Suddenly swooping low on an ocean deep
Rousing up a mighty monster from his sleep

We're walking in the air
We're floating in the midnight sky
And everyone who sees us greets us as we fly

Far across the world
The villages go by like dreams
The rivers and the hills
The forests and the streams
