I said let's ditch these thrill ridesyou haven't smiled since we lost the sun just a few more red tickets till this carnival has lost all it's fun as we left we watched tents from a distance set fire, and they burned burned down from here we were safe from the sparks, but I told her to run she grabbed me by the arm, and kissed me like, 'what do you mean?' I said 'i think I should stay here i just can't abandon this scene.' she said 'it still might be home, however, only home sometimes, you can't stay here' I said, 'if you're not with me, then why don't you leave.' 'cause sometimes I get so caught up in a wave of disgust in myself that I can't help but feel like a scare you away with the way that I feel i'll continue to push you away, in all hope that you won't feel chained. but do you really think I want you to go tonight on this hill, disaster will conjure a crowd and wait for it, wait for it wait for it. we'll cry and we'll let it out, let it out, let it out. and just move on cause sometimes I get so caught up in the ways that we could amend this world and I can't help but think that there's much more to life that just getting your boys and your girls i'll continue to push in this way, and won't stop will I make some change do you really think i'll die when you're gone.
