                                      5 STRING VERSION

Tuning AEADG

First things first, Iowa has got the coolest bassline known to man, But not as
cool as the Killers are Quiet bassline... (That was a joke in case you didnt realize)
In reality, it would be best to use a 5 string bass with a low drop A to play this.
Im not sure what the bassist to slipknot does, but this tab sure as hell sounds like it.
Now i know most of you probably dont have a 5 string bass, so i also tabbed out a 4 string
version for those who dont mind tuning thier bass extreamly low

Riff 1: This is not only the intro riff, but the defining riff of the whole song.
A minute to learn a lifetime to master. (pardon my corny jokes)

Riff 1 (altered): At times, through all the odd noises, it's tough to decipher exactly what
the bassist does. This Riff is used to keep the rythm durning softer parts. This is
my own personal variation, so dont quote me on this.

                                    4 STRING VERSION
Tuning AEAD

I've included the 4 string version for those who feel brave enough to tune
thier bass that low. Good luck!

Riff 4

All i have to say is that i expected some allusions to older songs, and i was even telling
myself as i listened to this CD "They're gonna do a killers are quiet riff eventually" and
they did. This new version pretty much blows the other version away, but i still like all
thier old stuff.
