Snowflakes glisten all around might did fall
But the moon has found a clear cool light which gives me sight,
Somewhere North of Santa Fe.
With children asleep in the back seat,
I listen to the music, and tap my feet,
Wish they were awake to see the lights,
The treats some where North of Santa Fe.

They may call this the wilderness
But what I've found surrounds us with a hush,
New fallen snow and happiness,
Ribbon upon which my car drives,
My eyes wee all they can and we survive,
Wilderness changes colors now.
Will sunlight change what we have seen,
Will it change the attitude within me?
We'll put it to the test eventually.
