It sleeps
Below the Earth
In a place
Where light cannot reach

A place
Which knows no cold
Which knows no heat
Barren and empty

No strong winds blow
Nor gentle breezes
Only stagnant air
As still as death

And here it lives
Unknown to light
Unknown to Man
In peaceful nonexistence
