Agree with the previous poster, this seems to be about a trans man, keeps getting asked why he doesn’t like that straight men are interested in him and why he doesn’t like being called ”pretty” etc. It’s a lovely lovely song, makes all my pals go a bit quiet haha

I always thought he said "I'm tired of being misread, my love" , made me think the whole song was actually about a trans guy who was sick of being miss gendered! i used to really dislike this song until i thought this :smiley: mostly because some of the lyrics go with the whole idea of "turning someone gay" which i hate xD but Now i love the song so whatever!
