Fear is the only sign upon his face 

as he walks alone through this silent 

storm 

towards his waiting day 

time is no longer standing by his side 

for 

his cry we share, remaining there 

through the day we die 

and we turn our 

backs and wonder 

why life goes on 

to feel as the light is slowly blown 

away 

through this solitude there`s no open view 

and no words to say 

pray 

for the souls of many who slip away 

and to understand that It`s close at 

hand 

will it always mean a friend 

and alone his soul is crying 

while 

life goes on

all the 

life that now slips through his fingers 

for all of the times we live 

without care 

mind and heart now both screaming for reason 

as to why there 

is nothing to hear
