After my brother, my cousin and me, we stayed in that house But my cousin got so depressed that he couldn't get out of bed then I came home one night and he was sitting at the kitchen table with a woman I'd never seen They were both laughing and drinking and he said he'd joined the army and a couple weeks later he'd left Exit 194b there's a house along side that road Looks like any other house i suppose Six months later he called me from a pay phone and he said he'd gone awol, The next time I saw him it was snowing and I saw him walk up the drive We went inside and shut the blinds and we stayed up for days The death of my youngest brother fell into us like he was right there in a flannel shirt and with his crazy laugh Exit 194b there's a house along side that road Looks like any other house i suppose But it haunts me still and won't let me go There was a darkness in bath of us that neither was strong enough to escape so we just stayed in that house, we just stayed in that old house, my cousin, and me & my little brother, he always loomed
