Artist: Remy Shand Song: The Mind's Eye Album: The Way I Feel Tabbed by: Louise Cloma Well, I finally figured out the chords just about 5 minutes ago after listening to "The Mind's Eye". I love this Remy Shand song very much mainly because of the instrumental at the end(adore it!). This tab is the 2nd tab I've done so far, and a Remy Shand one as well. Remy Shand, I love your music, and if you see this, please be proud. =) "The Mind's Eye" basically goes on and on for 6 minutes over two chords. Tuning is standard EADGBE Chords for verse/chorus/end instrumental: Gm7 (F#m7) Fm7 |--3-------2-------1--| |--3-------2-------1--| |--3-------2-------1--| |--3-------2-------1--| |--x-------x-------x--| |--3-------2-------1--| The pattern is sliding from Gm7 to Fm7, then Fm7 to Gm7. F#m7 is in brackets, so you have the option to play it if you want. I think the F#m7 gives it a really nice R&B feel. Intro: 4 bars rest. The strumming doesn't begin until the verse. Verse 1: Gm7 I remember when uninspired (F#m7)Fm7 conversation could fuel my fire (F#m7)Gm7 Lookin' at me so heavy handed (F#m7)Fm7 would loosen my strain (F#m7)Gm7 (F#m7)Fm7 (Together as one...) the body is gone (although it hasn't disappeared) (F#m7)Gm7 (F#m7)Fm7 (I'll be the one...)to set like the sun Ooh Chorus: (F#m7)Gm7 As far as the eye could see (F#m7)Fm7 I could see no light (I could see no light) (F#m7)Gm7 As far as the eye could see (F#m7)Fm7 I could see no light (I could see no light) Verse 2: (F#m7)Gm7 Settle down, talkin' love (F#m7)Fm7 talkin' beauty of it all I could plead, I could make ends meet (F#m7)Gm7 leave your value, leave your virtue (F#m7)Fm7 seize the making of some new company (F#m7) Gm7 (F#m7)Fm7 (the age of this passion...)will set me back silent (don't tell me what i shouldn't be) (F#m7)Gm7 (F#m7)Fm7 (the reign of our action...) will change us for the night ooh.. Chorus The singing ends, and the instrumental starts at 2:15. It just goes over the same chords during the solos and until the end. Solos: First the guitar solo, keyboard solo, guitar, keyboard again, then both. I'll probably have the guitar solos written in a separate document.
