About this lyric:
No Surprises by Regina Spektor, Music Lyrics and Video
Regina Spektor, alternative pianist and anti-folk musician, released a charity single, "No Surprises", on April 27, 2010. All proceeds of the song go to the Doctors Without Borders Emergency Relief Fund. The medical and humanitarian organization has global reach, delivering emergency treatment and aid to those in need in nearly 60 countries.
The exclusive track, like the March 23rd concert at New York's Irving Plaza before it, was inspired by the recent devastating earthquakes in Haiti and Chile.
The original song by alternative rock band Radiohead was released as the third and final single from the group's 1997 album "OK Computer".

Regina Spektor - No Surprises Lyrics A heart that's full up like a landfill, a job that slowly kills you, bruises that won't heal. You look so tired-unhappy, bring down the government, they don't, they don't speak for us. I'll take a quiet life, a handshake of carbon monoxide, with no alarms and no surprises, no alarms and no surprises, no alarms and no surprises, Silence, silence. This is my final fit, my final bellyache with no alarms and no surprises, no alarms and no surprises, no alarms and no surprises please. Such a pretty house and such a pretty garden. No alarms and no surprises (get me outta here), no alarms and no surprises (get me outta here), no alarms and no surprises, please.
