ripping off the skin of the earth
there's no time for compassion or fair-play
time's money and truth a flirt

there is good and there is eveil
but freedom is freedom you say
and oh you believe in heaven and hell
you're on the wrong way they say

no gods accepted, only credit cards
no more magic no more mystery
only glamour, pain and academy awards
no reality, no pity

just stop stopping, just stop starting
count your notes and consult your P.C.
don't remember what you're forgetting 
this definitely isn't a place for me to be
