I honestly think the tuning should be lower, perhaps (CGCFAD) for the opening chords in the Intro/Verse but it's not really worth re-tuning when Dropped-D is fine. ************************************************** From: "George W. Dude, I have seen this same exact gutar tab before. The tuning isn't Drop D its standard.
Try playing this. Strum each.
E-----------------------
B-----------------------
G-----------------------
D----- 0 -- 3 ----------
A- 0 - 0 -- 1 -- 3 -----
E- 0 ----------- 1 -----
And the solo is played on the D string
D - 5 - 8 - 7 - 3
And the chorus is played like this. Strummed.
G ----- 0 ---------------------------------------
D - 3 - 5 - 3p - 0 - 3 - 7 - 5 - 0 --------------
A - 1 ----- 1p - 0 - 1 - ---------- 8 - 7 - 5 - 0
