THIS ONE IS THE WAY IT IS PLAYED BY TREY ON THE ALBUM BILLY BREATHS AND LIVE IN CONCERT ON BITTERSWEET MOTEL. In concert they cannot tune their guitars to the way it is played on the album so they play it at normal tuning. On the album their guitars are tuned a WHOLE STEP DOWN. The Chords: E------5-----5------5------3---2---0--------------- B------3-----2------1------3---3---3--------------- G------2-----2------2------2---2---2--------------- D------0-----0------0------------------------------ A------x-----x------x------------------------------ E------x-----x------x------------------------------ E------3-----3------2--------------------------- B------3-----3------3--------------------------- G------4-----3------2--------------------------- D------5-----5---------------------------------- A----------------------------------------------- E----------------------------------------------- THEN COMES THE CHANGE A dream it?s true? E------3-----3------2--------------------------- B------3-----3------3--------------------------- G------4-----3------2--------------------------- D------5-----5---------------------------------- A----------------------------------------------- E----------------------------------------------- THEN THE NEXT CHANGE So if I?m inside your head? E-------x-----x------3------x-------------------- B------10-----5------3------7-------------------- G------10-----5------4------7-------------------- D------10-----5------5------7-------------------- A------8------3------5------5-------------------- E------x------x------3------x-------------------- THE LAST CHANGE Come waste your time with me? E------3-----5------x--------------------------- B------3-----5------5--------------------------- G------4-----6------5--------------------------- D------5-----7------5--------------------------- A------5-----7------3--------------------------- E------3-----5------x--------------------------- That?s it, that is the CORRECT way to play it don?t be fooled by the easier way Trey is masterful. The chords in the beginning are played that way because the notes sound perfect together. Enjoy! Evan S. Borenstein Evan3@mail.idt.net
