Sometimes I feel like a fish that is thrown out of the water
And I can see the shore but I can barely move a fin
I don’t belong, I know the rules and still I beg to differ
I take a deep breath knowing you will never smile again

Sometimes I want to hide and get away from all the masses
Escape the staring eyes that freak me out and disappear

I’ve got these moments in my life that look just like slow motion
I try to carry on without you but I tend to freeze
And then I turn away, I’ve got to start running
And even then, where would I run, I can’t wipeout your face
