S U I C I D E
by Paul McCartney
(aka "Commentary Suicide")
transcribed by James
A piece of this never released song can be heard on "McCartney" in between
"Hot as Sun/Glasses" and "Junk". It was released unofficially on the 1974
bootleg "One Hand Clapping".

In the early 70's Frank Sinatra requested McCartney to write him a song. =20
Paul sent him a tape of "Suicide". Sinatra is reported to have very much=20
not liked the song; in fact, he thought it was a joke and did not dignify
it with a responded to McCartney.

Verse:
C Dm7
When ... tries ..=20
Em Ebm7 Dm7 G7 C
run away ... .. calls ... back, ... comes
C Dm7
If ....... . next time,=20
Em Ebm7 Dm7 G7 C
he's okay ..... ..... under both ... thumbs

Chorus:
Em B7/Eb
She'll .... along .. ... ....
Dm7 G7
Singing . .... .. ruined pride

C Em F
Then .. .... nothin' to it
         C Em Ebm7 Dm7
Ah ha ah I.. =20
         G7 Co Dm7 G7
I call it suicide.... ya, ya yea

The Co over "suicide" is a diminished run played like so:

      Co Dm7 G7
E-------------------------------------------5-------3------
B-------------------------------------------6-------3------
G-----------------------5-------------------5-------4------
D----------------4---7-----7---4-----4------7-------3------
A---------3---6-------------------6-----6---5-------5------
E---------------------------------------------------3------
Suicide da da da da da da yea ya yea
