I don’t know how we got here

We’re stuck in this place

We need to get out

& all of the while I’m preoccupied

I feel like I’m dying on the inside



Where do we go now, after this?

Do we just wallow in the same shit?

I’ve got my plans but they keep breaking

& so is my heart, right now.

I know in time I’ll get old

& I’ll realise my mistakes there’s plenty
