Omnicide - Risen To Ruin lyrics

Your rating:
Set the stage for our
ultimate play,
in tribute to
sickening paragons.
Created
in token of hatred,
now enacted,
armageddon attracted
six billion actors,
in rank and file,
rehearsing bygone grudges.
Doom directs this production.
“the fire kindled for your enemy will ultimately burn
yourself.”
this wise aphorism fading away
like the laughter of children slaughtered.
All drowned in arising downfall
So sick and tired
Of decency
My pen's flying
Across the sheet
The venomous creation
Sentences of damnation
out of letters of deliverance.
Sage pages turned to perverse script,
with requisites forged in armouries .
The curtain has risen to ruin.
insidiously laming
their audience mind
parched streams of consciousness
fake feelings of true bliss
reason ad absurdum as we silently observe and nod,
clinging to the performance of the play:
“Necessity before humanity.”
In whom our culture burns. In whom your children burn!
at first it seems
that there's no rest
the blasphemers
fulfilled their quest
but later the
play changes vast
by killing of
the complete cast
In (it's) conclusion fairly lucid:
Everything turns to dust!
But graced with interpretative dualism,
here's how to comprehend this end:
To let one's feelings reign
Will end in tragedy,
But thinking might at last
Restrict the misery
To understand these words
Dark and profane
Will turn this final act
Into a comedy humane
So laugh as the whole world cries out in pain
All in vain
So laugh as the whole world cries out in pain
Just enjoy the end
“As flies to wanton boys
are we to the gods,
They kill us for their sport.”
So why try to struggle
In sight: the end of the road
The (final) destination
The end of the play
Annihilation
“Death smiles at us all
But all a man can do
Is spitefully smile back
Nothing left to prove
So laugh as the whole world cries out in pain
All in vain
So laugh as the whole world cries out in pain
Just enjoy the end
