4. In My Youth
 
The river's so beautiful, sparkling and wild, the pines are so blithely a-twitter, Here, lazy I lie like a spoiled, young child on nature's warm lap 'midst the glitter. There's song, scent, and smiles shining over the lea from this earth and blue sky and all I see.
 
It's just like the wind brings a message to me of long happy days that are drawing, my blood is in turmoil, in love must I be - with whom? - ah! with all, this morning! I wish all the earth and the sky above lay close to my heart like the girl I love
