Mad At Gravity - Walk Away Tabbed By Scott Coello Tuning: bottom to top (D, G, C, F, A, d) MaG usually drops the "D" to "c" but that would change the song would sound so stay in this tuning. But in any other song, that you are working out or playing, its that tuning to be correct, thats Jim. I've notice how brief everyone eles has tabbed out walk away....its musch deeper then that come on at least do a bit more of the song....so i took things into my hands a look at the out come at least 2 solid pages of what i've worked out from 1 song. Just shows you that if you open your ears a little you get the corret one. Just remember who tabbed it out first and my name is Scott Coello. See who NICKS THIS TAB because they can't be arsed to do it them selfs. anyway HAVE FUN KIDS. \=slide down /=slide up x=blocked notes CHORUS Main/Chorus: Guitar 1, listen for timing etc. d---------------------------------------------------------- A---------------------------------------------------------- F-5-555-55/8-888-88/12-12 12 12-12 12\10 10 10 10/15 15 15\ C-x-xxx-xx/x-xxx-xx/x - x x x- x x\ x x x x/ x x x\ G-3-333-33/6-666-55/10-10 10 10-10 10\ 8 8 8 8/13 13 13\ D---------------------------------------------------------- d---------------------------------------------| A---------------------------------------------| F-9-999-99\8-88/12-12 12\5-555-55\33333/55555-| C-x-xxx-xx\x-xx/ x- x x\x-xxx-xx\xxxxx/xxxxx-| G-7-777-77\6-66/10-10 10\3-333-33\11111/33333-| D---------------------------------------------| Main/Chorus:Guitar 2, later in the song, wheres there's staggered chords i think he uses either a flanger or a phaser not sure.....just not sure "sniff". d-----------------------------------| A-----------------------------------| F-5-555-55/8-888-88-----------------| C-5-555-55/8-888-886-666-66/8-888-88| G-3-333-33/6-666-666-666-66/8-888-88| D------------------4-444-44/6-666-66| 1ST VERSE Verse Guitar 1: listen for timing, let notes ring d--------------------2---------- A-------------5--5----------5/4- F------3-----------4----4------- the slide isn't nessesary but it sounds good C-------------------------4----- really you should just hit "4" G----4------4------------------- D--4------5--------------------- Verse Guitar 2: listen for timing, let notes ring d----------------------- A------3-----4/3-------- F--------------------3-- C----5-----3------------ G--3-----1---------5---3 D----------------3-----1 other part to the verse: you can sort this part out to what ever guitarist you want but i think its the rythem guitar (guitar 2) palm muted---------------------------------| d-------------------------------------------------8| A--------------------------------------------8-8---| F--5-------------5-------------5-------------------|Listen for timing C---5555558555555-5555558555555-5555558555555------|this part varys so improvise G--------------------------------------------------| D--------------------------------------------------| VERSE 2 Remember gain some feed back while the rythem guitarist plays the guitar 2 part as show just a moment ago except put on an effect that will make the sound a bit wooooobblllyyy like Guyatone's chorus i think. After that bit go into the verse and add in the above bit. Chorus Play the chorus as normal then repeat but using staggered notes. Expalination: staggered means (in my guitar tech. language) to hit the chords but not to let them ring or just hold the note while you stum, you usually cut the sound by releasing your hand off the fret board after so many notes hit or blocked with your stummin' hand. In this case, if this is no use to you, just listen to howthey do it, its an easy to pick up thang.
