I’m Mary
I’m three
I’m older than my brother
To day I go to school with my mother
She told me
I could be happy
And I’ve put my new dress on
But what ‘s going on ?
We went into such a big home
Then mother left me all alone
A lady who’s name was Mrs Trade
Said to me"Mary don’t be afraid"

Mother, mother take me back home

She told us a lot of nice stories
It was so funny
But when I spilled my milk on the book
She flared up and give me a bad look
The afternoom we went to the playground
There were many torps all around
But when I tried to taste the sand
Raging Mrs Trade tapped my hand
Suddenly a ball hit my head
Such a pain and I lost my midday’s bread
All the children were laughing
Alone with my tears I was thinking :
"Mother, mother take me back home"
