About this Album:

lostprophets are a punk rock metal band from Wales. It's the best way to describe them. Although it doesn't capture how unique their sound is.

There are 11 tracks...and all are very polished.

1. We Still Kill The Old Way - A mood setter. This dictates to the listener what they can expect from the next 12 tracks. The opening lyrics "So here we go again..." are a perfect way to open an album. This song rocks in an old fashioned punk rock way. The chorus is softer than the verses, and it allows the song to soar. 4/5

  1. To Hell We Ride - More of "We Still Kill The Old Way", a cousin prehaps. The way the vocals and guitars blend together are perfectly constructed. The chorus again, heavier than the verses. Not as catchy as the other songs on the album. 3.5/5

  2. Last Train Home - One of the five highlights on the album. I love how this song splits its chorus into two sections. It just makes the listener enjoy the first one and then build up anticipation for the second. This is a softer song, more sincere. The vocals are perfectly pitched. The soaring heights of the guitars are the standout. 5/5

  3. Make A Move - At first I really enjoyed this song, then I recognised that it sounded a lot like "nu-metal" stuff, especially the chorus. This is a song which I prefer to listen every other time I play the album. The chorus is catchy but generic. 3/5

  4. Burn, Burn - Nice intro, really rockin'. Then a more slow verse. This song has wide appeal because of the catchy chorus. Although I would have preferred more guitar action. 3/5

  5. I Don't Know - An odd inclusion to the album. It doesn't have the flow of the rest of the album, it feels like a B-Side. 2.5/5

  6. Hello Again - Perfect intro, and then the distorted vocals. I enjoy the build up, because the conclusion is so satisfying. 3.5/5

  7. Goodbye Tonight - The highlight of the album. This is the slowest song on the album and it conveys the hurt of the singer. I love the structure and how the sped up verses make goosebumps appear. The chorus is simply perfect. The guitars and vocals blend together. The drums send the song along its way. 5/5

  8. Start Something - Another highlight. This comes off the back of the soft Goodbye Tonight. The build is great. The screaming vocals are better. This song pumps the volume up!!! A real treat! 5/5

  9. A Million Miles - This song could easily be the opener, the chorus is superb. The lyrics are satisfying. This has such a wide appeal. 4/5

  10. Last Summer - The second best song on the album. Again, it's softer. I love the fact that you can feel what they are singing about. The second vocals are a perfect inclusion. The chorus is beautiful. The song is beautiful. 5/5

  11. We Are Godzilla, You Are Japan - Interesting title, but the song just doesn't grab my attention, especially after the previous 4 songs. 2/5

  12. Sway - A nice closing song, although it doesn't capture the feel of the rest of the album. It is still a good song, but not great. 3/5
