The new lordi album released appropriately on the 06.06.06, is one of the best albums of the year. from the mere look of the cover, to the artwork inside, This album is astounding. The opening track is a radio report of a monster invasion! Then the broadcast is interupted by no other than Dee Snider of Twisted Sister fame, he tells us that the end of the race is iminent and then tells us that the heretics will burn in hell and the converts will be saved. And then the " this is the day of reconning, This is the Arockalypse" it is a kind of war of the worlds opener. Then we go straight into the loud, grinding, burning rock music of Lordi. The album features the euro-vision 2006 winner "Hard Rock Hallelujah", and the rather awesome "It Snows In Hell" and "who's The Daddy". If you are looking for classic metal, Lemmy-esque vocals and all surrounded in power anthems then this album is the one for you. It will make you smile from start to finish (and thats just the guest appearances from the likes of Bruce Krulick, Jay Jay French and Dee Snider).
