A young girl sits against a tree, crying. She is ready 
to give up because she has no one in the world. 
Suddenly, a nest plummets from a nearby tree and thuds 
to the ground. The little girl notices that the mother 
and one of the chicks fly immediately towards the sky, 
but one chick remains; apparently one of her wings is 
broken.

The little chick keeps flapping, attempting to fly, but 
keeps getting nowhere. The little bird simply won't 
give up. The little girl observes the baby bird making 
one last attempt and finally flies high to the sky. The 
little girl decides then and there that she too, no 
matter how much flapping it takes, she will fly again.
