I don't know what to say

I'll say it anyway

Some causes are dead and forgotten

Tender warm smiles

And embraces from friends

Some apples are both ripe and rotten

I grabbed the rope felt it slip at the tip

So I can see one more morning

The cheeky grin that this man gives to me

Tells me that he's worth more

I stand amazed at the sight that I see

The shape that dances in the warm spring wind

Drifts through my fingers like sand

Slowly I stand and challenge the man

Put him down so he knows what I'm feeling

I quicken my pace as I scream into his face

To look upon me as equal

The stab in the back as he rears and attacks

Now I have to find my own way

The streets are so free and they're welcoming me
