I just got this album and ill tell you now its amazing. John Butlers talent is beautiful and if you like any of johns other albums youll sure like this. Sunrise over Sea contains 13 songs including his 2 singles, treat yo mama and zebra. The album was an immediate hit debuting at number 1 in the charts.

All Band members play in the cd which includes john butler singing and awesomely playing his 6 string amplified guitar, banjo, accoustic amplified lapsteel,and accoustic amplified 11 string guitar, shannon birchall on bass and piano,, Nicky Bomba on drums, shakers, sticks ticky tack electric guitar tambourine backing vocals and djembi, Danielle Curauna on backing vocals, Tim Neil on a Hammond Organ and Shannon Birchal, Ceridwen Davies, Fiona Murphy, Helen Ireland, Amanda Rowarth, Jane Mason, Stephanie Lindner, Andrea Keeble, Caerwen Martin, and Arlie Smart all on a string section which is played in the song What You Want, and Michael Barker Playing Spoons Believe it or not! ( in zebra) , also playing congas, Marimba, Drums and Symbals, tambourine, and Darambukka.

Sunrise Over Sea is overall a beautiful album with johns phenomenal talent and i think any john butler fan or anyone into good music should go out and buy this album right now.

Excellent although i dont really like Damned To Hell which is John playing his banjo and singing. I cant really get along to the tune of it and it seems a bit boring and dull. Otherwise all the other tracks and fantastic especially what you want, treat yo mama, peaches and cream, and old man.
