James Cottriall - Some Kind Of Salvation lyrics
Your rating:
I've been walking for what feels like years Trying to find some place to call my own. I've been looking for some kind of salvation, Hoping maybe that I'm not alone. But it's so hard to look inside yourself And I don't mind saying that it's crazy To think that you are stronger all alone. 'Cause we need lots of different people To come and shape our lives. We need friends and brothers, sisters and lovers. It's the only way that we can survive. Now I'm a lonely man and I'm living on the streets. I've got to beg and borrow just to get a bite to eat. So do I turn to crime or do I steal from my neighbours? Or just forget about it all and lose life's sweet flavour? But it's so hard to look inside yourself And I don't mind saying that it's crazy To think that you are stronger all alone. 'Cause we need lots of different people To come and shape our lives. We need friends and brothers, sisters and lovers. It's the only way that we can survive. 'Cause way down here no-one can see me, No-one can hear my call in the dark. There's no-one to hold me, no-one to love me, No-one to pray for me tonight. So I call out to my God, ask Him to help me. What does He do? He shows me the light. So now I'm stronger, feeling better, Knowing that with Him I'll be alright. 'Cause we need lots of different people To come and shape our lives. We need friends and brothers, sisters and lovers. It's the only way that we can survive.
