InMe - FireFly guitar tab. Tabbed by - Darkarts1717 Tuning - Drop D (DADGBe). This is InMe's 2nd single. It absolutaly rocks. If you like this song then you should definatly go and buy there debut album Over Grown Eden!! Please note, I am not 100% that this is right, the song uses quite a lot of effects and i have tabbed it using just distortion so if it is wrong then sorry! Intro: |----*7---------------------*12------------------ |-------*7---------------------*12--------------- |----------*7--------9------------*12----------9- |-9-----------*7--9----9--9----------*12--7--9--- |-7---------------7-------7---------------5------ |------------------------------------------------ Features loads of reverb and effects, no idea what Dave uses so you'll just have to experiment! Verse 1: No Guitar. Pre-Chorus: ("Missing You, Broke My Life....") |-------------------------------------------- |-------------------------------------------- |-------------------------------------------- |-4-(4)-55555555-88888888-999999999-44444444- |-2-(2)-33333333-66666666-777777777-22222222- |-------------------------------------------- |-------------------------------------------- |-------------------------------------------- |-------------------------------------------- |-55555555-88888888-9999999999999999--------- |-33333333-66666666-7777777777777777--------- |-------------------------------------------- |-------------------------------------------- |-------------------------------------------- |-------------------------------------------- |(9/10-9/10-9/10-9/10-9/10-9/10-9/10-9/10)--- (x2) |(7/8--7/8--7/8--7/8--7/8--7/8--7/8--7/8-)--- |-------------------------------------------- Not 100% that this is the exact number of strums, just listen to the track and decide for yourself! This part is played with slight palm muting, distortion, reverb and some delay I think. The last bit with all the slides needs to be played pretty fast. I'm not sure if thats how Dave does it or not but if you can get it up to speed it sounds fine! (Part in brackets = only on 2nd repetition) Chorus: |----------------------------- |----------------------------- |--------------222222222222--- |-------444444-222222222222--- (x4) |-22222-222222---------------- |-22222----------------------- Verse 2: |------------------ |------------------ |------------------ |------------------ (x2) |-3--7--3--5--2---- |-3--7--3--5--2---- Repeat Pre-Chorus. Repeat Chorus. Interlude: |-------------------------------------------- |-------------------------------------------- |-------------------------------------------- |-(44)-55555555-88888888-999999999-44444444-- |-(22)-33333333-66666666-777777777-22222222-- |-------------------------------------------- |-------------------------------------------- |-------------------------------------------- |-------------------------------------------- |-55555555-88888888-9999999999999999--------- (x2) |-33333333-66666666-7777777777777777--------- |-------------------------------------------- Very Similar to the Pre-Chorus, only way more distorted. As with before, parts in brackets are only played on the 2nd repetition. Pre-Outro: (couldn't think what else to call it! Its the bit with the same lyrics as the chorus but far softer music). |---------------------------------------------------- |-----7---------------------------------------------- |---9---9------9--------9--------9------------------- |-9----------9---9----7---7----7---7---4-4-4-4-4-4-4- |----------9--------7--------7---------2-2-2-2-2-2-2- |---------------------------------------------------- This has no distortion but does have high reverb and some effects similar to those used in the intro. Outro: This is just the chorus played 4 times again. I think this is right if not its pretty close!! any comments or general bitchin to be aimed in the general direction of Darkarts1717@aol.com!
